Lyndon R. Watkins Sr.
Lyndon R. Watkins Sr. is a Forensic Scientist with the Chicago Police Department (CPD), Bureau of Detectives. Prior to his role at CPD he worked for the Maryland State Police and D.C. Police Department. Lyndon has spent over 30 years as a Forensic Expert having traveled the U.S. and internationally for training, laboratory accreditation assessment and providing expert testimony.
His accomplishments include the successful international accreditation of several forensic laboratories of major law enforcement agencies. Lyndon received his Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from Chicago State University, Masters in Forensic Science from Stevenson University, and is currently attending Indiana Wesleyan University as a PHD candidate.
A Chicago native, Lyndon’s extracurricular activities include serving as the Director of Baseball Operations at Coppin State University, playing guitar and networking professionally. He is also the President of Fir3stForensics, a forensic consulting company.
