Barbara Maldonado is the Manager – Strategy at Ironworks, Caterpillar’s in-house creative and marketing services agency. Prior to her role at Caterpillar, Barbara spent 22 years in digital and marketing agencies in the Chicago area supporting clients in the entertainment, telecommunication, retail, and consumer products space. She graduated from the University of Wisconsin – Madison and earned her Master’s degree in Integrated Marketing Communications from Northwestern University. In her spare time, she serves on the Board of a Mexico-based non-profit, Forests for Monarchs, the Board of Chicago Dance Crash, a hip hop and street dance company, and on the auxiliary board of Chicago Council on Science and Technology.
