This February 22, C2ST is thrilled to participate in the Chicago Architecture Center’s Engineering Fest! This fun event gives kids ages 8-12 an opportunity to explore the STEM fields of architecture, engineering, and design through hands-on activities with professionals in the field. Our table will feature a circuit-building activity with an urban planning twist.
While this event is free, registration is required. Don’t miss out—visit architecture.org/efest for all the details and to sign up.
Upcoming Events
Communication, collaboration, creativity, and critical thinking are important skills to develop for 21st-century careers. At Hernandez Middle School (HMS), all students work on developing these skills throughout their classes. At the STEM event, participants will engage in activities related to one of the 5C’s that shows connections between STEM, the Arts, and their daily lives. Possible sessions include: a microscope station and an exhibition of Student Science Projects.
*This event is closed to the general public and is only open to HMS families. If you would like to volunteer or learn more about how to support future STEM nights, click the button above.
