Visitors (including registered visitors) understand and agree that The Chicago Council on Sciene and Technology (C²ST) may collect, maintain, and process information provided by them to C²ST.
Public Areas
Visitors may visit the public areas of the site without disclosing any personal information about themselves. In order to access the restricted sections including registration visitors will be required to provide additional information.
Registration
C²ST visitors can register for programs tickets through our site. The information that is collected includes name, title, company, address, phone, fax, and email. Users may log into the site at any time to update their information.
Members Only
Portions of the site will allow only visitors that are members of C²ST to access the content.
Usage Data
C²ST reserves the right to record and collect information as to how Visitors are using the site. This information may include but not be limited to the Visitors IP address, browser, length of visit, pages visited, operating system, etc. This information will be used by the Council and any third parties working for the Council to maintain the site.
Linked Sites
C²ST may provide links to third party Web sites. These sites may not be reviewed, controlled, or examined by C²ST, and as such C²ST is not responsible for the privacy policies, practices, or content thereof.
Consent to Processing
By using or providing information to C²ST, all visitors understand and consent to the collection, processing, and use of the information by the Council.

C²ST may utilize third parties to provide and perform certain services and functions. The Council will make information concerning visitors and their use of the site available as necessary.

C²ST reserves the right to update this policy at any time, by posting the policy on our Web site. Policy shall be effective upon posting.
