Membership Benefits

The Chicago Council on Science and Technology is a nonprofit membership organization working to link to a network of individuals and heighten the awareness of science and technology in the greater Chicagoland community.

As a member of C²ST, you become a key contributor and link to a network of individuals working to heighten the awareness of science and technology in the greater Chicagoland community. Members engage in timely conversations with leaders and experts on critical research; participate in a variety of programs; connect with like-minded individuals; and help C²ST strive to be the center of the scientific community in the Chicagoland area.

C²ST is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization. Contributions are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.

Membership Levels

  • Student Member: $35/year
    • All Community Member benefits, plus:
    • Opportunity to submit for poster session once a year
    • Admission to Science 1-to-1 programs
    • C²ST Scholars Challenge Opportunity
    Educator Member: $45/year
    • All Community Member benefits, plus:
    • Professional Development Credit (where applicable)
    • Admission to Science 1-to-1 programs
    • Bring-a-class Privileges once a year
    • Participation in Member-led Special Interest Groups (under development)
    Community Member: $60/year
    • Admission to C²ST public programs at the reduced member rate
    • C²ST E-Newsletter with upcoming programs
    • C²ST Quarterly member newsletter
    • For $40 more (total $100) one can purchase another seat for a total of two seats at this membership level
    Science & Technology (S&T) Professional Member: $75/year
    • All Community Member benefits, plus:
    • Admission to networking events
    • Participation in Member-led Special Interest Groups (under development)
    • For another $40 (total of $115) one can purchase another seat for a total of two seats at this membership level
    Leadership Council Member: $250 – $999
    • All Community Member benefits, plus:
    • Total of five seats to C²ST programs at the reduced member rate
    • Priority seating at programs
    • Invitation to participate in one President’s Council program per year
    • Acknowledgement in annual report
    President’s Council Member: $1000+
    • All Community Member benefits, plus:
    • Total of 10 seats to C²ST programs at the reduced member rate
